Do you ever sit back and think, “if only I had time to do that”? Chances are you find yourself wishing you could take time out, go away for a few days, or hide away somewhere quiet so you could just get a minute to yourself! Well, guess what, you’re most likely not the only one and I’m sure there are many of us who have these kinds of thoughts on a regular basis.
The difference is that most people keep doing it, regardless of the fact “that life doesn’t have to be so hectic” if we make a conscious choice for it not to be. The constant pressure we put on ourselves on a daily basis, to be the person we think we should be or to do what we think we should be doing, is more likely causing many of us to be time poor and energy inefficient!
I see so many people pushing themselves so hard in pursuit of what they think they should be able to handle and when they fail, they blame themselves for their own lack of effort when this is clearly not the case!
Sure, nothing worthwhile is ever easy, but you need to remember that putting unrealistic expectations on yourself and your time is only going to take you down the road you’ve already travelled. To truly change your life, to give yourself time for you and to enjoy life as you should be, you need to remove preconceived ideas of where you think you should be and enjoy today!
